De acordo com informa\u00e7\u00f5es da CBN, o radialista faleceu enquanto dormia na Zona Norte de S\u00e3o Paulo. O corpo foi enterrado \u00e0s 16 horas desta segunda\u00a0no Cemit\u00e9rio do Horto Florestal, segundo funcion\u00e1rios do local.<\/p>\n<p>Jos\u00e9 Bettio nasceu em Promiss\u00e3o, no interior de S\u00e3o Paulo, em 1926. Ele iniciou sua carreira art\u00edstica como sanfoneiro e participou dos grupos \u201cSertanejos Alegres\u201d e \u201cZ\u00e9 Bettio e seu conjunto\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Tornou-se locutor por acaso ao assumir o microfone da r\u00e1dio Difusora de Guarulhos para ler um an\u00fancio. Agradou com seu jeito simples e coloquial e acabou sendo contratado.<\/p>\n<p>Ficou conhecido em S\u00e3o Paulo na r\u00e1dio Cometa.\u00a0 J\u00e1 na r\u00e1dio Record, teve uma das maiores audi\u00eancias das d\u00e9cadas de 1970 e 1980.
